Frubi is owned by two working women, Rowena and Connie. We believe food should come from the earth as simply and unadulterated as possible.

When we looked at what ice confectionary products were currently available we discovered that what was on offer in the market were filled with chemicals, enhancers etc., high in fat and low in nutrition. Many items which on first glance appeared healthy, when reading the fine print, were not. We also became aware that a lot of the raw product was coming from overseas and felt that if we were to produce our own ice block that it would be important to source the fruit locally. So we decided to do something about this unsatisfactory situation, hence the creation of Frubi.

Our backgrounds are quite varied, Rowena studied visual arts and Connie studied marketing. We pooled our respective talents and threw ourselves into unchartered waters (fruit juice actually!) and began our journey into the organic food industry.

We source all our organic fruit within Australia, conscious of carbon miles, keeping close relationship with organic growers and produce agents.

We keep their finger on the pulse through their wholesalers and stay in touch with the market by personally doing taste testings throughout the summer months. We love to hear first hand how fabulous people think Frubi is.
